Lauren Salvodon

Founder & Executive Director

Lauren Salvodon is a compassionate, community-focused professional with over 22 years of experience in healthcare support, mental health advocacy, training, and family services. She is the Founder and Executive Director of The Advancement of Character and Learning, LLC, where she helps parents, educators, organizations, and community members build stronger, healthier relationships and create positive, supportive environments. Having advocated for her son who was bullied in school, Lauren brings a deep empathy and understanding of the challenges parents face.

An Advanced Certified Trainer in the Nurtured Heart Approach®, Certified Family Support Partner, and Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Instructor, Lauren leads workshops, trainings, and motivational talks that focus on emotional wellness, resilience, and effective communication. She specializes in addressing bullying prevention and intervention, helping individuals and communities build safer, more supportive environments. She also partners with schools, mental health agencies, and first responders to strengthen crisis response and promote understanding and empathy in challenging situations.

Lauren is deeply committed to reducing stigma around mental health and continues to advocate for emotional wellness and character development as key to thriving communities.
